Before you can check to see if you're eligible for a pay advance, Truebill needs to recognize that you have an active payroll. If you aren't seeing the Get Paid Now button on your Dashboard or if your payday information is incorrect, you might need to modify your payroll information.
Is this your first time requesting a pay advance?
Before you can check your eligibility for pay advances, you'll need to ensure that your last three paychecks have been assigned to your payroll.
To do so, you can head over to your Transactions tab and search for your most paychecks using the search bar.
Tap on your most recent paycheck. You should see an Is Paycheck toggle below the paycheck’s description and amount.
Tap on the toggle button next to the Is Paycheck row and it'll turn green. The icon will also change now to the Payroll icon.
If you have any other recent paychecks within the last three months that are not assigned to your payroll, please follow the same steps for each of them.
You should now be able to check your eligibility for pay advances on your Dashboard!
Have you previously received pay advances, but not seeing the Get Paid Now button on your Dashboard? Here are two common ways to fix your payroll.
1) Ensuring all of your paychecks are assigned to your payroll. Our system might not have picked up that your last paycheck was part of your regular payroll. You may need to assign your most recent paycheck to your payroll.
Please follow the steps above, but you will only need to do this for your most recent paycheck.
If you have more than one source of income, please make sure that you are assigning your paychecks to the correct payroll for each specific source of income.
2) Updating the next expected payday. If we are not accurately predicting your next payday, you might not be able to check your eligibility for pay advances. Here's how to check that your next payday is correct and update the next payday:
Go to the Transactions tab and find the most recent paycheck assigned to your payroll
Tap on that paycheck and, at the bottom of the screen, you should see a button that says View Income
Select that button and then you’ll see a screen with an overview of your income from the last few months with Options on the upper right
Tap on Edit Details
Finally, edit the Next Date. You can also edit the Pay Schedule if needed to reflect that you are paid every two weeks, twice a month, etc.
Please note that, in addition to having an active payroll, there are a number of additional criteria that our system takes into consideration in determining eligibility for pay advances.
