You are only able to withdraw settled deposits from your savings plan within the Rocket Money app. Managing this feature is not available on our website.
Money deposited into a savings plan can only be withdrawn to the same checking account which it came from.
Here’s how to withdraw:
From your Dashboard, tap the word “Savings” to expand the savings section
Tap on the name of your Financial Goal
Tap the “Withdraw” button, to the left of the red “Add Money” button
Enter the amount you’d like to withdraw
Tap “Transfer”
Done! It can take 1-2 business days to see it return back to your bank account (excluding weekends).
If the instructions above don’t match what you are seeing in the app, try these steps instead:
From your Dashboard, tap the word “Savings” to expand the savings section
Tap on your Smart Savings plan
Select Options in the upper right corner
Tap on Withdraw and enter the amount of money you'd like to withdraw from Smart Savings
Done! It can take 1-2 business days to see it return back to your bank account (excluding weekends).
You can withdraw up to $5,000 per withdrawal, per day. If you have already withdrawn $5,000 in one day, you will need to wait until the next day to withdraw more. Please not that you won’r be able to withdraw a pending deposit. Deposits typically take 4 business days to become available.
