If you've signed up for a Rocket Money Premium Membership but are not able to access the Premium features on your account, there are two common explanations:

  1. Your Premium Membership has Expired

  2. You have a second (or third) Rocket Money account under a different email

Your Premium Membership has Expired

If you have previously cancelled your Premium Membership, it’s likely like your access to our Premium features was revoked at the end of your billing cycle. If this was done by mistake, you should be able to sign up again through the app. You’ll need to follow the appropriate steps depending on how you were being billed for your membership:

My Premium Membership was Billed through the Apple App Store, or the Google Play Store

If you were being billed through a third-party, like Apple or Google, you’ll need to follow these steps in the mobile app:

  1. Tap on the Settings (⚙️) icon in the upper left corner of your Dashboard

  2. Select Premium Membership from the menu that populates

  3. Select Restore Premium

My Premium was Billed through the Rocket Money App

If you were billed directly through our app, you’ll need to reactivate your Premium Membership by following these steps:

  1. Tap on the Settings (⚙️) icon in the upper left corner of the Dashboard in your mobile app

  2. Select Premium Membership from the menu

  3. Scroll to the bottom of that page and tap on Choose Your Own Price

  4. You'll then walk through some confirmation screens, but Premium should then be applied to your account!

Possible Existence of Another Rocket Money Account

If you notice that you are being charged for a Premium Membership but are unable to access the Premium features, it's highly likely that there's a second Rocket Money account linked to your bank account. This is a common occurrence among our members who manage multiple email addresses or have authorized users on their bank accounts.

It's often the case that family members or authorized users create a separate Rocket Money account without the knowledge of the primary account holder. If you have authorized users on your bank accounts, we recommend reaching out to them to inquire if they have created a Rocket Money account.

Similarly, if you use more than one email address, it's feasible that another Rocket Money account was established under a different email. To verify this, you can check the recipient email address on the email notifications that you receive from hello@insights.rocketmoney.com. This will help you identify which email is linked to your Rocket Money account that is being billed for the Premium Membership.
